Based out of Thunder Bay International Airport, KBM Aviation comprises a fleet of ten piston and turbine fixed-wing aircraft servicing our growing 702/703 and FTU operations. Aerial Survey includes missions such as aerial photography, LiDAR, thermal, Geophysical, and ocular surveys all over Canada and beyond. We also operate charter services, flight training, maintenance/AMO in Northwestern Ontario.

KBM Aviation is hiring a flight instructor for our Flight Training Unit. The position involves flight instructing RPP, PPL, and CPL candidates on our C150, C172, and Redbird SD FTD. This position will require relocation to Thunder Bay. Working hours will be coordinated with the CFI and can include weekends, holidays, and night shifts. Advancement opportunities within the company include transition to Multi-Engine, Group 1 and Group 3 Flight Instruction and/or Survey Flying after the first year. Salary Range $35,000 – $45,000.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • CPL
  • Flight Instructor Rating
